gong xi fa cai

this is a couple of days late, but a happy lunar new year to all my chinese homies.





some resolutions that my friends might want to take up in the year of the dog:
- to not play $50 dollar hands of blackjack at office gatherings
- to not drink 7 (or is it 8?) glasses of cheap house wine at zouk
- to not refuse to buy cigarettes for half a houseful of desperate smokers because it "goes against your personal beliefs"
- to not smoke (and inhale) expired cigars in an attempt to make up for the absence of cigarettes
- to not party so hard the night before that you forget you are working the next day and have me shoot your assignment for you

now that the four day holiday is over, all we have to look forward to are owners of assorted foodstalls around the island re-opening their stalls so we need not have fast food as the only option of refreshment.
