damn good excuses
really. it's been a crazy few days.
three hours of sleep after landing at 1:30am two saturday mornings ago, i donned the suit and tie, and headed over to pasir ris in the bridal car to pick up seng and the rest of the boys. it was his big day and it was a long but rewarding one for all of us.

ladies and gentlemen, the newly married couple maye-e and terence
after a tuesday rushing around to get things settled, i head over to the airport for a seven hour flight to sydney where i would spend the next five days covering a certain murder trial involving singaporeans. what was supposed to be a somewhat cush job ended up, in the words of the abovementioned terence, as being the "same shit, different toilet bowl". lots of waiting in the cold and rain, and lots of sympathy with the families who lost their sons. in fact, it wasn't until saturday that i managed to get enough breathing time to head to the sydney fish market for lunch, and sydney harbour to walk around the opera house, the rocks and circular quay areas.

harbour bridge at sunset
so now i'm back, with the possibility of heading back out to sydney again for the verdict, but while i'm home, it's pretty cool to see that one of the comic characters mart came up with, both based and named after me, is part of a onedotzero.com.sg bus stop design project.

beeker the gadget freak
maybe more pictures will follow of each of the above, but maybe not, depending on how lazy i am. what can i say, i'm pretty happy with the way most of my life is going.

That's a dope Sydney picture. It's a damn shame you didn't get to go out and take more pictures. If you go again, snap some for me, will ya?
