that's the industry's code phrase for turning something unbelievably boring or unphotogenic into something pretty, or at least somewhat visually palatable. when the info line on your assignment reads: "new security fences installed at changi airport. to take picture of the fence after the safra golf club", you know you're pretty much screwed.
i bet it's too artsy for the paper (read: unpublishable), but i kinda like it.
