happy new year

so what if it's taken me 18 days to say it? it still means the same thing.

i gave myself the limit of three people who could say to me "hey long time never blog eh?" before i would HAVE to put in an entry, and maye-e just happened to be the one to say it today.

so here i am.

funny how i didn't make a single new year's resolution this year, and yet, it seems like i am changing the most things in my life.

i've been smoke free for ten days now (not trying to jinx it, so that's the last i'll mention of it for awhile), actually started hitting the gym again (this baby got too much back), and been trying to eat healthier. i'm trying to not be a twat to those around me (and failing miserably), and trying to remind my loved ones just how much they are loved (i hope i am having more success with this)

2007 promises to be a year of changes, i've already gotten my new passport, and will soon be getting my post-30 identity card (i must remember to apply for it!), my parents might move to vancouver, canada to enjoy a quality of life that befits their status as retirees, thus leading to a 97.459% chance that christmas 2007 will be celebrated in new digs. the new child that has inflitrated my close-knit group of friends has completely stolen our hearts, thus allowing one to assume that new offspring and marriages are imminent.

new lives, new homes and new, stronger bonds will form.

and i'm looking forward to every second of it.
