this is just ONE branch...

that's right. ONE branch... of a BIG tree.

so what if the tree belongs to my neighbour, more than half of it has extended onto our side of the fence, and in payment for the sweeping of leaves, the durian gods have decided to bestow not 10, not 20 but upward of 60 fruit for us.

a hybrid of malaysian and thai durian trees, i have to say that this particular tree produces some of the most aromatic (or "stinky" if you aren't a fan) and glorious durian ever.

now all i need to do is to manage to slink away a few fruit for a tasting so the unbelievers will finally see the light.

ladies and gentlemen, the king has entered the building.
