IWOOT III: morph pads

screw post its. why bother with them when you can have a set of morph pads to mess around with?

too bad i don't have a desk to call my own.

round two... FIGHT!

i have barely gotten over the effects of teaching a basic photography block (6-9pm, tues to fri) which ended last friday, when i am thrust back into teaching a new crop of photojournalism students.

the good news is that while i still have four weeks of classes to go, i've already made it to the halfway point and it can only get better from here on out.

i hope.

space filler: the view from court

flying again

"I think it's just that classic first couple of notes that transports you back to childhood or whatever memory you feel nostalgic about with Superman," quips kate bosworth during an interview, and while she may not have been a great lois lane, she was certainly the best to date (margot kidder sucked the monkey's ass and was butt ugly to boot).

but sitting in the cinema last night, hollywood weaved a special brand of magic, one that doesn't happen so often anymore. with john williams' themed music building to a crescendo and planets and galaxies wizzing by, i couldn't help but develop that lump in my throat, that crazed grin on my face and the emotion that was best described by maye-e as "got FEELING hor?"

superman's back, and it was everything i thought it would be.

fly on!
