The HTC One in Japan: An Introduction

April 15, 2013

So the good folk at HTC Singapore lent me their latest offering in the smartphone market, the HTC One, to take on a test drive as part of my trip around Japan to see how it handled as an all round camera.

Truth is, I think I brought too many cameras along with me on this trip and as it turns out, the One did get the most use (definitely more than the Sony RX100 and the Leica M9-P put together) by virtue of it being the smallest, least obtrusive and easiest out of the pocket. Just putting up a couple of sample images here for now, but keep up with me on Facebook for more pictures from the HTC One.

Visitors to Naoshima, an island town in Japan located in the Seto Inland Sea, clamor for a photo with artist Yayoi Kusama's famous Pumpkin, one of the island's unofficial icons.
