Convergence

May 07, 2013

It's time to support yet another local artist this month when Visual Artist, friend and steamboat kaki Tay Wei Leng will be launching her first book Convergence on Thursday, May 16, 2013, 7pm at Objectifs located at 56A Arab Street in Singapore.

A collection of 65 images gives an intimate look at the segments of the Chinese community in Singapore and Malaysia.

There will also be an Artist Talk on Saturday, 18 May, 2013, 3:30pm at Select Bookstore, 52 Armenian Street where Wei Leng will discuss her process and research with Ahmad Mashadi of the NUS Museum.

Books will be available for purchase at both the launch and artist talk for SGD$47 before GST and both will include a book signing session. They will thereafter be sold at Objectifs, Select Bookstore and Kinokuniya Bookstore.
